Kimberley House, Kalk Bay is a gracious old house filled with light, situated halfway up a cobbled cul-de-sac. It has a huge patio - from which you can almost reach out and touch the sea and watch whales and dolphins cavorting in the bay, a sheltered garden with lots of birdlife out front and a sun trap/courtyard and herb garden out back. It has just been completely refurbished but retains old oregon pine floors, high ceilings and other original features. Dalebrook tidal pool and Danger Beach are minutes walk away as well as good coffee at the Café des Arts and fabulous food at the famous Olympia Deli.
Kimberley House is on the boundary between St James & Kalk Bay. Kalk Bay is a unique fishing village with working harbour, countless quirky shops and some of the best eating in Cape Town. The house has:
