Simon's Town

 Simon's Town offers excellent holiday accommodation near to the Cape Point Nature Reserve. It is the principal base of the South African Navy therefore the town is steeped in Naval history. Nestling between mountain range and sea, the town has attractive winding streets with many small antique shops and general stores. Simon's Town has it's own 'Waterfront' area with restaurants, tea shops, post office and souvenir and curio shops. Enjoy fish and chips at the Salty Sea Dog Restaurant or take a trip around the Peninsula on one of the many boating tours.
